But change only in your clothes is not the perfect preparation of winters, instead there are many such things which need more care this winter. - Start your day with a hot glass of water and complete your day by drinking at least 2 liters of water.
In the beginning of your day, you must drink a glass of lukewarm water, which helps you in digestion, reduce fats and increase metabolism. As your day comes to an end, make sure that you must have drunk at least 2 liters of water. In winters, we usually decrease our water intake. So it is very necessary to keep yourself hydrated. Inspite of drinking normal water, you can have lukewarm water in your whole day. It will really melt your excess fat.
- Have a plate of fruit salad before breakfast
In winter season, we feel hungry and it is not unusual. So to keep yourself full for whole day, choose fruit salad before breakfast. You can either opt for vegetable salad too but it may become boring and tasteless for longer use. So try to add seasonal fruits in your early morning diet.
- Breakfast should be high protein
Your breakfast plate should be rich in protein. If you are non-vegetarian you can have fish, egg or any red meat. But for vegetarians, you can have oats with milk, banana smoothie etc. It is not a problem if you either have chapattis or parathans in the morning, because it will give you instant energy and even relax your taste buds.
- Lunch should be a proper meal
Try to be free in lunch time, have seasonal vegetables, bowl of dal, rice and chapattis. Keep yourself full in lunch. Opt for curd for digestion and enjoy your meal with change in veggies with each passing day.
- Nuts are good evening snack
It is very good and healthy to have nuts in the winters. Take a small box and fill it with nuts to carry it with yourself. Enjoy them as evening snack or you may have fruit of your choice.
- Light and healthy dinner
Soup, bowl of dal, vegetable salad, khichdi, dalai etc. these are the best things you can have in dinner as it will keep your very light in the night.
- End your day with milk
At night before sleeping, you must have a hot glass of milk. It is very important to have calcium in your diet.
Note: Do not diet in winters, it will not make you lose weight but will surely make you weak. Eat healthy food of your choice. Cheat yourself on any one day of week to hang on junk.
