Easy and Innovative Recipes, You Should Taste This Navratri


Navratri season has just begun, and followers had already started prepping to welcome the Goddess in their homes. The holy and pure days have arrived and it is very important to maintain the pious environment in and around the house. On this special occasion, followers do fasting and worship of Goddess for eight days. We have listed below few unique recipes of fasting, which are easy to make and delicious to eat. Sabudana Kheer

Steps to make:

Soak Sabudana for some time.

Heat a pan and pour some milk into it.

Once milk comes to a boil, add some sugar as per your taste.

Then add soaked sabudana into it and cook it till sabudana gets soften.

Now add some cardamom powder and dry fruits as per your taste.

Serve hot.

Paneer Pakoda

Steps to make:

Cut Paneer into big rectangle size.

Marinate the Paneer with green chilies and rock salt (used in fast).

Heat the pan and pour oil/ghee for deep fry.

Take some Kuttu ka atta (buckwheat flour) in a bowl.

Mix salt, chopped green chilies, cumin powder, pinch of asafetida in Kuttu ka atta.

Add water and make a batter out of kuttu ka atta, which can easily coat over the Panner.

Now dig the pieces of paneer one by one into kuttu batter and deep fry them in oil.

Serve Paneer Pakoda with coriander or mint chutney.

Fruit Cream

Steps to make:

Cut some seasonal fruits and mix them altogether in a big bowl.

Now add fresh cream and milk in the mixture.

Add some powdered sugar and chill the fruit cream for 2 hour.

Serve it chill.

Veggie Salsa

Steps to make:

Cut some potatoes in small cubes, wash them thoroughly and drain excess water.

Put the potatoes in a baking tray; add few chopped cherry tomatoes and green chilies.

Sprinkle rock salt and bake the platter in oven, till potatoes turn golden brown.

Serve hot.
